Technology Team: a bit about the team

The Technology team is at the forefront of the entire Marketing Automation technology landscape - specifically in relation to Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This collaborative team works closely with the Customer Experience (CX) Team (i.e Client Growth & Account Management Team) to uncover real business problems faced by our customers and develops solutions to not only overcome these obstacles, but deliver phenomenal digital transformation. Members of the Technology Team support our customers in a number of ways including business requirements gathering, technical discovery workshops, consultation, solution design, development and implementation.

Your Responsibilities: a bit about you

A Marketing Automation Coordinator at Datarati plays a crucial role in developing innovative solutions for complex technical and digital marketing requirements. You will be assisting the Technical Architect and Marketing Automation Specialist in designing and building the technical solution based on the requirements gathered with the customer in the Discovery & Design phase. This role mainly collaborates within the Sprint team and will occasionally be in client facing situations such as Solution Discovery, UAT, Solution Walkthrough, Training, etc.

As a Marketing Automation Coordinator, you will be part of one Sprint Team (Technical Architects and Marketing Automation Specialist) which you will collaborate with the other team members to deliver high quality technical solutions on time and on budget.

The highly respected role of the Marketing Automation Coordinator generally focuses on the following key areas:

  • Responsible for email marketing program development and execution, including segmentation, testing, and deployment, and continually evaluate these for improvements.
  • Maintain Marketing Automation integration with CRM and assist in the integration of additional platforms into the marketing automation software.
  • Understand and evaluate campaign metrics and distribute campaign performance to the marketing team.
  • Work with management to define KPIs, create reporting, analyze campaign performance. Create recommendations to improve campaigns continuously.
  • Manage marketing automation efforts and processes, proactively researching and implementing the latest best practices, strategies, and industry standards.
  • Plan and perform QA testing to define and execute enhancements to productivity, conversion rates, programs/campaign ROI, and sales growth.
  • Support essential marketing operations initiatives in Salesforce such as managing the lead lifecycle, lead scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, and data cleansing.

  • B. Computer Science, Software Engineering, Marketing, MIS or equivalent work experience
  • Passion in consulting and/or implementing Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions 
  • Passion in consulting and/or implementing Web or Digital solutions

Preferred Skills and Experience: it’d be great if...

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Informatics, Computer Science, Marketing, or Interactive Design
  • Understanding of digital marketing best practices 
  • Experience in business requirements gathering and solution documentation
  • Experience Storytelling, Storyboarding, and Customer Journey Mapping
  • Experience developing mobile responsive web pages and emails
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Pitching ideas, presenting to internal/external stakeholders
  • A passion for solving problems
  • 1+ years relevant work experience
