The Opportunity

We’re on the hunt for an amazing Content Marketing Specialist to join the Lendi Group family and help our brands (Lendi and Aussie home loans) deliver engaging and informative content in the personal finance and property market space. 

We’re looking for a skilled wordsmith who can turn financial jargon into simple and engaging personal finance content, understands the key principles of SEO, and is ready to roll up their sleeves and work with a fun cross-functional team to optimise and drive conversion across our site pages. 

You’ll work closely with the wider marketing team to plan, strategise, develop and execute our content strategy, and maintain consistency and cohesion across our CMS.

Our ideal candidate is comfortable contributing creative ideas, can quickly grasp technical concepts and has a proven history of content delivery across a variety of channels. Past experience writing about personal finance is a bonus.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Executing our content strategy. Writing, editing and publishing engaging personal finance content designed to demystify home loans and help our readers get on the front foot financially
  • Maintaining web pages, updating and optimising copy and images on our CMS
  • Employing SEO best practice to drive results for organic website pages
  • Collaborating with the wider marketing team in developing compelling new content for SEO, analysing results, optimising older web pages, and identifying new content opportunities
  • Develop content including, but not limited to, articles (blogs, financial guides & thought leadership), industry insights, infographics, social media, eDMs and eBooks
  • Writing with a consistent brand tone of voice, easily switching between Lendi and Aussie brands.

 

Skills in copywriting and creative thinking are a must. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a content, communications, agency or marketing role. 
  • Impeccable written communication skills with proven experience writing and editing engaging marketing content.
  • Understanding of the SEO landscape, ability to identify opportunities to drive SEO best practice across content 
  • Hands-on experience using a content management system.
  • Adobe Photoshop knowledge and experience building web pages in a CMS
  • Financial services experience is a bonus
