Service Delivery Team: a bit about the team...

The Service Delivery Team is the backbone of the delivery of the project specifically in relation to Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This detail orientated team works closely with the Technology Team and Customer Experience (CX) Team to drive the Strategy and Growth within the customer’s account. The Service Delivery Team is responsible to deliver projects on time, within budget, to agreed scope, manage technical service team members, manage issues and risk, manage communications effectively and execute work plans and review.

Your Responsibilities: a bit about you...

As a Digital Project Manager, your role is to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of each project you are working on. You will be supported by the Program Manager and Business Analysts to ensure that scope and direction of each project is on schedule and within budget but more importantly meeting customer expectations. You will also work closely with the finance department to provide accurate reporting for invoicing purposes.

The highly respected role of the Project Manager generally focuses on the following key areas:

  • Leading the Project Team: The Project Manager’s first role is making a feasible plan that achieves the project’s objective and ensuring this is conveyed to the project team. Part of the plan is working close with the project team and understanding their skillsets so you can assign them tasks and deadlines, give them tools to collaborate and ensure all requirements are present ready for execution. Meet regularly and get status updates to track progress.
  • Time Management: The Project Manager needs to define, schedule and accurately estimate the task duration to develop and maintain a realistic schedule. This includes managing the customer’s time and planning ahead to avoid unnecessary extensions.
  • Budget: Keeping within or under the overall project budget is often what makes or breaks a project. You can deliver an exceptional milestone on time, but if that cost is more than the budget signed, then the project is deemed a failure. You must monitor the actual spend as compared to the planned budget. If those figures are off, you must adjust accordingly.
  • Quality: Before each deliverable are presented to the customer, you need to ensure the quality of work meets expectation or better and make sure they are satisfied with the results.
  • Manage Issues and Risk: Project Managers are the backbone of each project, this means you need to be ready to face any problems that arise and quickly resolve before the project goes off-track. You must figure out any potential risks beforehand and set a plan of action to address it.
  • Reporting: Reporting is a crucial part of communication with the customer as well as your team. It highlights the accomplishments, roadblocks, progress and budget spend. This report is gathered on a regular basis and can be used to plan similar projects in the future.


Minimum Requirement: the nitty-gritty...

  • 3 - 5 years working in a digital agency setting
  • 3 - 5 years working in a project management role
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (PMP or CSM are a bonus)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Strong analytical mind and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in managing digital implementation projects (CRM, Web/App Dev, Marketing Automation)
