We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Service and Support Agent to join our Client, a leading National Telecommunications company in Perth!

This is an iconic Australian company at the heart of technological change, with talented people who are rewarded for their efforts and can explore and achieve personal growth.

Hours: Shifts between the hours of 5am - 10pm

Hourly rate: $29.59 + Super (+ penalties for any afternoon/ weekend/ Public Holidays)

Location: Perth CBD for the initial training and embedding period of up to 8 weeks.

Once fully upskilled and proficient, the flexibility to work from home will be offered with the occasional need to go to the office for training/team events

Start: Mid December 2021

Duration: Ongoing (opportunity to become permanent dependent on performance and business needs)

The role

After training, you will be resolving customers' technical inquiries in accordance with national standards. You will be provided with customer and technical training and user support in this fast-paced environment.

You will report to the Customer Service Team Leader and work in a large diverse team.

You will:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Respond to customer enquiries and provide technical and customer support
  • Manage incidents and product requests
  • Provide customer training and user support
  • Escalate issues and ensure SLAs are achieved
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver full end to end support
  • Adhere to key performance indicators

Required Skills

To be considered for this role you will need:

  • Experience working in a call centre for the likes of Superannuation / Insurance and Telecommunication companies will be considered highly advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills and lateral thinking
  • Ability to investigate, analyse and advise customers
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Possess excellent work ethic and behaviours
  • Interested in technology and how to troubleshoot
  • Ability to clearly communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders
  • The ability to work from home through an ethernet connection
  • Good time management and resilience
  • Ability to pick up and learn new systems quickly
