Yes, yes, I know what you are going to say, you’ve seen the same cookie-cutter role for a full-stack developer where you get “all the perks” of a company (which just consists of the basics of a good company) and you’re thinking to yourself, how will this role be any different?
Well, I’m about to change your mind!
Digital Creators is a digital product and innovation studio. Founded in 2016 Digital Creators offers a complete “startup team in a box” solution for medium-to-large size companies wanting to build out new innovative digital ventures.
Generally, they come in from the beginning and run with the venture for the first 6-12 months before handing over to a new company. If you think you are coming into another stalemate environment, think again! Digital Creators’ team is filled with thinkers, creators, builders and growers.
They select first for attitude and culture-add: most important is your curiosity, drive, the pride you take in your work, ability to work with ambiguity and execute fast. All whilst having fun along the way!
Now, the good stuff.
Digital Creators don’t just talk the talk, they also walk the walk. In 2022 they are moving to a 4 day work week.
You will have full flexibility to work from home or work at the office (Sydney CBD). The team meets for collaboration and team building offsite for team lunches once every 3 weeks.
You will receive 1 paid day off every 3 weeks (above annual leave). Hello, 15+ extra long weekends per year!
To put the cherry on top, they pride themselves on a fantastic culture that rates 4.8+/5 as a great place to work, that motivates you to do your best work, provides a sense of belonging and psychological safety.. Oh and have fun!
And as for salary…
The salary range for this position is set at $170-180k target package including base, super and company bonus.
But I’m getting ahead of myself, you want to know about the role right?
As a senior full-stack developer with a couple of years experience under your belt, you will know what it takes. You will be working on Python & React. If you’re not across both 100%, that’s okay, Python is our more essential requirement. You’ll pick up the rest in no time, all thanks to your tenacity and curiosity to learn.
You’ll work within a small project team of 2-3 engineers, alongside product managers and designers for the duration of each project. Although you will work remotely, you will be able to work alongside them seamlessly. You are a part of a well-oiled process that collectively as a team delivers the highest quality of work.
Although coding is your jam and you will have plenty of time to do just that, you will also be interacting with clients along with understanding and analysing client briefs, so you’ll be able to think creatively and bring innovative ideas to the table.
